Earth Day Event Recap
The Clean Team and Foot Patrol met on Saturday, April 20th, for an Earth Day Clean-Up event with community members who volunteered to join us. The weather was gorgeous!
Clean Team Captains and Foot Patrol group leaders led volunteers in the 7 zones of the 120 blocks of the Pearl District. We were thrilled to see the results of PDNA’s ongoing work keeping our district clean; the volunteers had a manageable amount of trash to pick up. We gathered about 50 13-gallon garbage bags, which the Hoyt Street Yards Community Association picked up and hauled away.
Lunch was provided for all volunteers at Fields Bar & Grill, allowing us to celebrate!
