We Represent the Pearl District Community

We are a newly approved organization in the Pearl District, actively working to enhance and improve the neighborhood through collaborative projects, and we welcome anyone interested in joining our efforts to visit our website or social media pages.

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for organizing the annual Pearl Party and finding innovative ways to involve residents and businesses in supporting the ongoing efforts of the PDNA, encouraging community engagement and donations towards specific initiatives to ensure the sustainability of our community's work. Your support is greatly appreciated in keeping our community thriving.

The Planning and Transportation Committee plays a vital role in making land use and transportation decisions for PDNA, shaping neighborhood policies, and addressing relevant issues by attending hearings and meetings, collaborating with public agencies, and providing valuable input to develop plans and studies that benefit the community.

The Livability and Safety Committee enhances the quality of life and safety in the Pearl District by addressing concerns such as noise control, graffiti removal, public safety, and community well-being through discussions, collaborative efforts, and engagement with law enforcement agencies and community organizations.

The Communications Committee facilitates transparent and inclusive communication within the Pearl District by managing communication channels, such as newsletters and social media, to share updates, events, and initiatives, fostering community engagement and participation.

We convene monthly to promote emergency preparedness among Pearl District residents and businesses, emphasizing the importance of simple yet impactful steps individuals and organizations can take, and welcome those interested in contributing to our community's safety to join us.

The Pearl District Neighborhood Association sponsors the Foot Patrol, a group of community volunteers serving as a positive presence in the neighborhood, walking the streets regularly to deter crime, report concerns, and engage with the community, welcoming anyone to join them for a walk to contribute to the safety and vibrancy of the Pearl District.

We've established the PDNA Clean Team, offering volunteer opportunities for group cleanup efforts in dedicated zones within the Pearl District, with teams assigned to specific areas and the flexibility to set their own schedules, along with training and tools provided. Ready to make a difference?

The Pearl District Neighborhood Association is taking action to improve street cleanliness and water quality by implementing initiatives like the Trach Can program, Clean Team, and installing cigarette butt receptacles throughout the Pearl District, with a goal of installing 100 bins to collect and recycle cigarette butts through Terracycle, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our trained Clean Team members.
