Residents from both the Pearl District and Northwest Portland are gathering to express growing concerns around proposed shelter developments in their neighborhoods. Key issues include a lack of wraparound services, transparency, and long-term strategy. The goal of this meeting is to create direct dialogue between neighbors, local nonprofits, and invited public officials.
Invited Speakers Include: Mayor Keith Wilson, City Councilors Olivia Clark, Mitch Green, and Eric Zimmerman, Commissioner Meghan Moyer, Representatives from Blanchet House, Rose Haven, and the Salvation Army. Each invited speaker will be offered 10 minutes to speak, followed by open community feedback.
