BettyLou’s work as an anesthesiologist brought her to Portland in 1996. She moved to the Pearl in 2005. As she served on her HOA Board, she noted the work of the PDNA wasn’t understood by many in her building. In an attempt to become part of the solution to this challenge, she joined the PDNA Board in 2013. She’s served on the Communications Committee since that time. BettyLou and her husband enjoy both the vibrancy and convenience of urban living. On those rare days when she drives her car in the neighborhood, she sometimes worries that she might walk home instead of driving home.
